Wenqi is a third-year PhD student in Linguistics and has her MA in Linguistics at UI as well. Her primary research interests are in experimental phonetics and phonology, with an emphasis on (L1 and bilingual) speech processing. She is currently working on the production and perception of tones in Mandarin dialects.
